Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph Stony Brook University School of Medicine welcome it's newest medical students at their white coat ceremony. I do a fair amount of work at Stony Brook and at the School of Medicine, so it was really neat to see all of the fresh faces ready for all of the challenges they will encounter during med school. I look forward to documenting them during their journey!
The ceremony also recognized two Distinguished Alums of the school, Dr. Breena Taira and Dr. Lee Fleisher. I thought that it was a fitting inspirational moment for the new students to see the results of the fine education that they will receive.
